At the beginning of each new year we start the year off with the goal of having one amazing team at the end of the year who is crowned the Champions of the Champions. In January we have a tournament to decide who takes that crown. This year Kimbaux/Ceesan stepped into those shoes and became our first ever annual Champs. Congrats to you two. It was an amazing feat. They will hold that title until next January when we do it all again.
We are going to have a new tournament in April. Just a one time adjustment of options to see if we can have some fun. Options will be three redbooks, three blakebooks, a switch up on book points and draw all from the discard pile. It’s FUN and it’s what it’s all about. I you don’t like it, hang with it, we will switch right back.
More and more individuals have found their way to our website and the excitement grows each time a tournament readies itself. The ladder play which is a standing of players on the site has changed leads drastically in the last month and shows the quality of players is climbing with each posting of the monthly ladders. Last months winners of the Mayfest Double Elemination Tournament were LynMom/Bull. They were followed close behind in a double Texas shootout by Lawdawg/GaPeach. If we could have given double championships, this was the time we’d have done it.+
